The Contemporary Services Memorial offers a contemplative space for veterans, their families and the broader community to acknowledge all who served from 1990 to the present day – including Rwanda, East Timor, Iraq and Afghanistan. The memorial is located in the Domain, a large parkland that holds historical significance as the site of Sydney’s first Anzac Day service in 1916. Robert Plumb Build engaged Parametric Monkey to provide a digital fabrication model of the project. The design features over 280 unique parts, made from cast brass and granite, with integrated LED lighting.
