Back in 2012 as a Research Assistant at HKU, I produced a series of (work-in-progress) illustrations for Dr Stephan Al and his book, ‘The Strip: Las Vegas and the Architecture of the American Dream‘. Documenting the evolution of change of the strip’s casinos, the illustrations highlight how both the casino’s morphology and theme has evolved since their inceptions.
