Paul Wintour is a NSW and UK Registered Architect currently based in Sydney, Australia. He is the founder of Parametric Monkey (Parametricmonkey.com), a research and learning website dedicated to accelerating the computational literacy within architectural design. Paul holds a Masters of Architecture and Urbanism from the Architectural Association’s Design Research Laboratory (AADRL) and has also studied at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), and l’école d’architecture de Paris Val-de-Seine (EAPVS). He has previously taught Master students at HKU, and undergraduate students at both QUT and the AA. He has worked extensively in Australia, The Netherlands, the UK and Hong Kong. Currently, Paul is a Senior Computational Designer at BVN where he provides BIM implementation and design technology services to project teams. In particular, Paul specialises in the interface between conceptual parametric modelling and project delivery.
